Tasting tables, masterclasses, dinners, culture and stories that belong to the territory: a journey to explore Nizza docg, starting from its roots.

Il Nizza è opens to the public on Friday 1 October at 6:30 p.m. in the garden of Palazzo Crova, with a varied meeting to kick off the event:
– 6:30 p.m. “Prospettive del Nizza docg”: forum on the Future of Nizza docg, featuring leading representatives of the bodies that represent this important appellation.
– 7:30 p.m. Tullio Mussa Award
– the opening session will end with a toast with the Alta Langa docg and Spumante Metodo Classico of the producers taking part in the event.

A dinner to highlight the peculiarities of the different terroirs of Nizza docg, with traditional Monferrato recipes, reinterpreted with new ingredients.
During the dinner, Bianca Roagna will explain the dishes and their macrozone pairings, and the other AIS sommeliers will serve you Nizza docg wines at the tasting table.
Special guest, Derthona Colli Tortonesi doc Timorasso.

During each service, you will find a selection from the 80 Nizza wines participating in il Nizza è, divided according to their six macro-areas. Tasting table is available to diners (at an additional fixed cost).

Enjoy the sunset from the tower of the Campanon di NizzaA as you taste Nizza docg and four other great Reds, paired with finger food by Michelin-starred chef Maurilio Garola (La Ciau del Tornavento restaurant in Treiso – CN).
No-heel-shoes and a jacket (it could be cold) required. There’s a very high stairs to the top!

Il Nizza è is an event organised by Enoteca Regionale di Nizza in partnership with Associazione Produttori del Nizza and the Municipality of Nizza Monferrato, with the technical support of the Asti delegation of the AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) and the collaboration of Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Tortonesi.
